Alouette® Shallot & Onion Baked Brie Recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. (13.2 oz.) Alouette Baby Brie, Original or with Herbs
1 10-12" loaf round, crusty bread
3 tbsp. chopped scallions
¼ cup chopped shallots
¼ tsp. white pepper
2 tbsp. white vermouth or white wine


Directions
Preheat oven to 375º F.

 

Slice off top of loaf of bread.  Hollow out inside, saving cut bread for serving.

 

Remove and discard entire top rind of Alouette Baby Brie.

 

Place brie inside of bread.

 

In small bowl, combine the scallions, shallots, white pepper and white vermouth or white wine.

 

Spread shallot-onion mixture on top of brie, replace top slice of bread and wrap entire loaf of bread in aluminum foil.

 

Bake at 375º F for 30 minutes.

 

Serve with extra bread and crackers.
