Mini Alouette® Brie Log Monte Cristo Sandwiches

Ingredients

1  Alouette® Brie Log
1 loaf sliced bread
4 oz. shaved deli ham
4 oz. shaved deli turkey
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 eggs
2 oz. milk
2-4 tbsp. butter or oil for cooking 


Directions

Lay 10 slices of bread out on a flat surface
Spread bread with a light layer mustard in the center of each slice
Build sandwiches using about ½ oz. of ham and ½ oz. of turkey for each slice of bread placing on the mustard in the center of the bread
Slice Alouette® Brie Log in 10 even slices and place on stacked deli meat
Place a slice of bread on top of prepared sandwich bottoms
Gently press the top slice of bread to slightly compact the sandwich
Using a round pastry cutter cut each sandwich to remove the crust this will also assist in sealing  the edges
Beat eggs with milk
Heat a griddle pan or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add butter or oil to the  skillet
Dip each sandwich in egg coating and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side to melt cheese and warm the meats through
To serve, split each sandwich in half
