Spinach Artichoke Crab Dip

  • 1 (6.5 ounce) pkg. Alouette® Spinach Artichoke Soft Spreadable Cheese
  • 6 ounces jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Lightly grease an 8-inch gratin dish or a shallow, ovenproof dish
  3. Melt butter over medium heat in heavy gauge saucepan
  4. Add minced garlic and flour and stir until smooth
  5. Add milk and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat
  6. Add Alouette® Spinach Artichoke Soft Spreadable Cheese and heat until melted
  7. Add ground nutmeg and season to taste with salt and pepper
  8. Fold in crabmeat and spoon into prepared baking dish
  9. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly; serve warm
