Cavatappi with Creamy Pasta Sauce

Description

This easy creamy pasta sauce made with alouette garlic and herbs spreadable cheese is the perfect option to make for a quick, light, dinner or to meal prep for lunches.


Ingredients

16 oz Cavatappi Pasta
1 Cup Peas, fresh or frozen
1/4 Cup Chopped Herbs, basil and/or parsley
12 oz alouette Garlic and Herbs Soft Spreadable Cheese


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a full boil.
  2. Add pasta to boiling water, stir and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes, or according to package directions.
  3. Add peas for the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain well.
  4. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk alouette Garlic and Herbs Soft Spreadable Cheese and cream until smooth. Cook until melted and heated through.
  5. Pour sauce over pasta, add herbs and stir to coat.
