Description
Did you know you can make an easy and quick white pizza sauce using alouette spreadable cheese and a few simple ingredients? The best white pizza doesn’t have to come from your local pizza shop; it can be made right at home using our delicious recipe. Just grab a prebaked pizza crust (we won’t judge if it’s store bought), caramelize some onions, and alouette will help you do the rest. All you have to do is spread one of our soft spreadable cheese flavors on the crust, add all of your toppings and bake. If you’re feeling greens, you can even top your pizza with spinach before placing in the oven, for an extra healthy kick. If you’re needing more protein, add some pre-cooked or grilled chicken! You can’t go wrong however you choose to enjoy!
Ingredients
1 pkg. Alouette Garlic & Herbs Soft Spreadable Cheese
1 ea. Onion (chopped)
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1 – 14-inch Prebaked Pizza crust
1 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds
1 pkg. Chavrie or Alouette Goat Crumbles
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a sauté pan over medium high heat
- Add butter and onions and cook until translucent
- Once cooked, add brown sugar and balsamic vinegar, reduce to syrupy consistency set aside to cool
- Pre-heat oven with pizza stone to 400˚F
- Place pizza shell on flat surface and evenly spread Alouette Garlic & Herbs over surface
- Distribute onions over surface of prepared pizza
- Add Chavrie Goat crumbles and sesame seeds
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until lightly browned
