Garlic Bruschetta

Cheese: Spreadables Garlic & Herbs

Cook Time: 6 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6.5 ounce) pkg. Alouette® Garlic & Herbs (or Savory Vegetable) Soft Spreadable Cheese
  • 12 slices of French bread (1/4 inch thick)
  • 1 1/4 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped and seeded
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh, chopped parsley or basil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of Alouette® Garlic & Herbs (or Savory Vegetable) Soft Spreadable Cheese on each slice of bread
  3. Top each slice with 1 1/2 tablespoons of chopped tomatoes and 1 teaspoon of Parmesan cheese
  4. Place bruschetta on a cookie sheet and bake for 5-6 minutes
  5. Garnish with parsley or basil and serve as an appetizer

Variations: For Spinach Artichoke Bruschetta follow this same recipe using one 6.5 ounce package of Alouette® Spinach Artichoke Soft Spreadable Cheese, and substituting tomatoes with 1 1/4 cups of diced red bell peppers
